Working on a secret project.  Due to the secrecy, this is all I can show.

Day 28

Now I'm shifting from mending to altering.

A sleeveless top and light sweater.

Days 24, 25, 26 and 27

Every evening from Tuesday to Friday I continued mending.  I think I have 8 'new to me' tops since they've been in the mending pile so long I forgot I had them.
And 2 more tops that I examined closely and couldn't find what needed mending so I put them back in the closet.
And I mended 2 pillowcases and a spring jacket.

Day 23

I got some mending done tonight.

This is one of two tops that have been in the mending pile so long I feel like they're new!

I skipped going to MCQ.

Day 22

UFO No. 1 complete.

I had a little glitch with my camera; or actually my brain.  I apparently got a little overzealous about getting rid of some old techy stuff, including cords, to Tech Dump; and donated my camera cord by mistake.  So I could take pictures, but not get them on my computer.  So here's 5 days of sewing. 

 Day 17, part of the handstitching the facing down.

Day 18, the remainder of the facing stitched down.

 Day 19, the pillowcase interior seams.

Day 20, sorting through more magazines to recycle.

Day 10 and 11 working on strips, started 4 more.

Yesterday and today I've been working on the MQ 2017 Mystery Quilt.
Due to the secrecy, this is all I can show you...

Day 5

Today I started with darker yellows. 

Day 2, 3, and 4

I cut out the strips for the first block in the MQ 2017 mystery quilt, but dissatisfied with the lack of contrast in the picture, I stopped that and the next few days I went through magazines to get rid of them. 

Day 1

It would make me feel so good to fill this blog with quilting tasks, events, accomplishments in 2017 so today is Day 1.
MQ is having it's 2nd Mystery Quilt and I've just picked out my light fabrics for it.
