Day 59

But I sewed the first seam of the blocks I posted yesterday.

Cutting and sewing on Thursday and Friday were only about 20 minutes because of this cold, but Saturday I got some sewing done.

Day 57

More sewing today so I completed sewing this step, but I miscalculated on the cutting (I'll blame the cold), and I have about 20 yards of strips left over.

Day 53

Still have the cold.  It's been a long boring day, but after dinner I felt a little better and got a few rectangles cut.  That's enough for tonight.

I hope tomorrow is better.

Still got the cold and went into work for a couple hours.

Trimmed blocks tonight.  No energy for much else.

No sewing!  I have a cold and don't have the energy or brain energy to sew.

I woke up feeling ok, but as the day has gone on, it's obvious I'm getting a cold.  So I stuck magnets on empty spools.  Not horrible, but not very attractive without thread.

Instead of buying numbered or alphabet pins, I just made my own.

Day 45 I spent about 20 minutes cleaning my sewing room.

Tuesday is ironing day.

 Day 42 I cut out some strips.  The blue was too dark, I used the back.

Day 43, completed baby quilt top.

Days 40 and 41

I've been working on this, yesterday and this evening.

Just need to decide what I want to do with it next.

It was one of those bars of 2.5" strips from Sew Batik in Mayville ND.

Used a wing clipper ruler.  It was extraordinarily awesome for cutting geese, but wasn't so great when I went to sew some.  I'm sure it's user error.
